MEPCO Peak Hours
Electricity used during peak hours is billed at a higher tariff under Time-of-Use (ToU) metering. Shift heavy appliances — air conditioners, water pumps, irons — outside these hours to lower your bill.

Can I check my MEPCO bill by CNIC?
No. MEPCO’s online billing system does not support lookup by CNIC number. You need the 14-digit Reference Number or 10-digit Consumer ID printed on any previous MEPCO bill. If you have lost your old bills, visit your nearest MEPCO customer service center with your CNIC to retrieve your reference number.
What is the difference between Reference Number and Consumer ID?
The Reference Number is a 14-digit code identifying your specific billing record, including batch and subdivision codes. The Consumer ID is a shorter 10-digit account number identifying you as a MEPCO customer. Both are printed on your bill and both work with the checker above.
Why does it say "Bill Service Unavailable"?
This usually means PITC’s firewall blocked the request because the website’s server is outside Pakistan. The fix is to route bill fetching through a small proxy file hosted on a Pakistani server — see the setup guide that came with this site (README.md).
